Jefferson County deserves a Commissioner whose qualifications come from real life. Stephanie VandenBerg is a licensed CPA, small business owner serving local entrepreneurs, and a former school board treasurer who managed a $13.5 million budget. She’s spent more than two decades volunteering across local schools, churches, and civic organizations. As a Jefferson County resident since 2014, Stephanie and her husband John have been raising their family near Deer Creek Canyon. She’s running for County Commissioner to serve our community with discipline, integrity and heart.

Lowering Property Taxes & Protecting TABOR
Rising home values are driving up property taxes and pricing families out of the communities they helped build. I’ll work to lower the mill levy, limit county spending, and defend the taxpayer protections in TABOR.
Roads and Infrastructure
Traffic is getting worse and our roads need real attention. I’ll work to improve our transportation network and make sure every tax dollar spent on infrastructure is spent wisely — and where it’s actually needed.
Community Safety
Safe communities require action, not slogans. I’ll back our Sheriff, support our first responders with the resources they need, and hold repeat offenders accountable.
Local Control & Responsible Growth
State mandates are taking decision-making away from the communities they affect. I’ll protect local control, defend Jefferson County’s voice in its own future, and support responsible, balanced growth that respects the character of every neighborhood.
